The state of farming today isn't ideal.

India has an extremely rich heritage of farming and for many centuries we have flourished as an agrarian society. As per the Indian economic survey 2020-21, agriculture employed more than 50% of the Indian workforce and contributed 20.2% to the country's GDP.

The state of farming today isn't ideal.

The soil in most parts of India has been vastly depleted of it's original goodness, has become too tightly compact and is low on many nutrients essential for proper growth of plants.

Some of the reasons are:

SOIL
DEGRADATION

Soil degradation results from various factors, including overuse of chemical pesticides and fertilzers, excessive farming practices, deforestation, urbanization, industralization, and natural disasters.

OVERUSE OF
CHEMICALS

Unfavorable changes in soil chemistry mainly caused by synthetic fertilisers and pesticides, like excessive Urea and DAP, diminish plant nutrition. As a result the beneficial microbes and humus content decline; and the pH of the ground shifts, making it acidic.

GLOBAL CLIMATIC
CHANGES

Climate change is speeding the spread of destrification. Erosion from wind and water adds to the problem by removing fertile topsoil and leaving only a barren, sterile mixture of dust and sand.

SOLUTIONS at HAND

What we can do about it.

Good soil is being lost at a 100 times faster rate than we can remake and heal it. It's time to heal our relationship with soil. We need to find ways to avoid depletion of natural resources in order to maintain an ecological balance.

Practice
Sustainable Farming

Cultivate your own garden, even if it is a small one on your terrace or balcony. You can still grow a wide range of home plants, veggies, herbs, perennials, flowers, and vines in containers.

Reduce
Chemicals Use

Fermented organic fertilizer application is the most effective measure for rapidly improving soil fertility and microbial community structure, both leading to improved yield.

Revive
Natural Water

Irrigated agriculture remains the largest user of water globally. We must support revival of natural water bodies and lakes that can rejuvenate our depleting ecosystem.

tiranga

Tiranga Fermented Organic Manure is the first in a line of innovative products that has been developed after years of research in our own laboratory and is a marvel of soil revival and plant nourishment. It is totally chemical-free and enriched with more carbon than any other organic manure. A calibrated inclusion of essential nutrients makes Tiranga highly beneficial for plants, flowers, vegetables, fruits, herbs, grass and crops.

Mesophilic Digestion

Our process involves mesophilic digestion in which a diverse group of microorganisms, including bacteria and archaea, metabolize complex organic compounds. These microorganisms  produce enzymes that degrade organic matter into simpler compounds like volatile fatty acids, carbon dioxide, and methane. The methane produced is captured and used as a renewable energy source, while the remaining digested material, known as digestate, is used to make nutrient-rich Fermented Organic Manure.
